About this opportunity

Unity hospice is looking for volunteers to join us in supporting hospice patients through the donation of care and birthday bag items. At Unity we provide compassionate care for patients and their families during challenging times. We strive to bring comfort and dignity for all our patients, and we need your help to brighten their days. We try to bring joy to our patients by sending them birthday gifts. Care bags are given to family members to provide a small measure of comfort when their loved ones are in their final stages. How your company can help:Organize a donation drive: Collect items such as non-perishable snacks, hot cocoa packets, tea bags, small stuffed animals, birthday saches/necklaces and other fun birtday bag items, warm socks with grippy bottoms are always loved as well.Team Building Events: Host a team building day where your employees come together to assemble care and birthday bags (we will tell you what we usually put in care bags)Feel free to contact us if you would like to get involved. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference. Together, we can bring comfort and joy to those in need.Watch our video to learn more: Volunteering at Unity Hospice
