Come help The Salvation Army give Christmas presents to our clients in time for Christmas! We are providing our Angel Tree program with a toy shop model as well as bag distribution for families this year. Volunteers will help with a variety of roles including checking in families, checking out families, restocking gifts, shopping with families, taking bags to client vehicles, etc.Volunteers under the age of 18 must be working with an adult through the entirety of their volunteer shift. Volunteers must be 14 and older to participate.
About The Salvation Army of Central Indiana
Using both paid staff and volunteers, we repond to disasters locally, nationally and internationally. Moreover, we repond to individual plights within Indiana whether the circumstances involve domestic violence, substance abuse, at risk children, homelessness, joblessness and other situations where people need help and training. We have multiple programs and service-specific centers in and around Indiana. We have special events as fundraisers, donation collections and to increase awareness. "Need knows no season" so we are in constant pursuit of finding ways to make a difference and offer the gift of God's love.
