Client Check-In & Registration

Overview:As a Client Check-In & Registration Volunteer, you will be one of the first friendly faces our clients see when they arrive at the pantry. This role helps ensure a smooth and welcoming experience by assisting with sign-in, verifying client information, and directing guests through the shopping process.Responsibilities:Greet clients and create a welcoming atmosphere.Assist clients with sign-in and registration forms.Verify client information (such as household size or visit eligibility).Distribute number cards, clipboards, or shopping sheets as needed.Communicate with pantry staff and other volunteers to keep the client flow organized.Maintain confidentiality and treat all clients with respect and compassion.Skills & Qualifications:Friendly, patient, and dependable.Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.Basic computer or clipboard tracking skills (training provided).Ability to remain calm in a busy environment.Time Commitment:Shifts are typically 3 hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays.
