Urban Development Corporation is a nonprofit organization. We just acquired a house in poor condition, which we intend to rehabilitate and remodel. UDC is seeking individuals who have been assigned by the court to perform community service and are willing to complete their hours by engaging with our project. We seek individuals skilled in manual labor and proficient in using construction tools.We have availability for individuals to perform community service hours from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. Our efforts are currently concentrated in the following areas:Beautification and clean-up of inner city neighborhoods.Substance abuse awareness and prevention.Broadening the horizon of inner city youth through exposure to future career opportunities, the fine arts, and recreational activities.Acquisition and renovation of deteriorating properties.Unemployment and underemployment.Addressing environmental pollution concerns and issues.Serving as a liaison between residents, businesses; local police and municipalities to alleviate illegal activity.Rehab of our donated building which will be utilized as a community/employment center.
