These incredibly special volunteers are asked to provide support to our actively dying patients at StoryPoint Saline. This includes sitting by the bedside, providing calming music or supportive presence (conversation/reading/gentle touch) and supporting grieving families at the bedside.Please note: If you are new to hospice or NODA volunteering, as part of your training, you will be asked to serve as a Companion Volunteer for a period of 1-2 months to ensure it is a fit.
