This role is perfect for someone passionate about environmental careers and workforce development who wants to make a meaningful impact in supporting new entrants to the green economy. Working collaboratively with another co-lead, you will help design and execute programming that connects aspiring green professionals with opportunities, resources, and industry insights.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Development & PlanningCollaborate with co-lead to identify and develop relevant programming for individuals new to the green workforce aligned with the GreenHomeNYC missionResearch emerging trends in green careers and sustainability employment opportunitiesDesign workshop formats, panel discussions, and networking events tailored to career changers and new graduatesSpeaker Sourcing & EngagementIdentify and recruit industry professionals, hiring managers, and green career experts as speakersCoordinate speaker logistics including scheduling, briefings, and content requirementsMaintain relationships with a network of green industry professionals for ongoing programming
