Location: New York City (with some hybrid flexibility)Position SummaryLP4Y USA is seeking a volunteer to lead and revitalize the organization’s annual and community events calendar, with a focus on expanding donor engagement, strengthening community ties, and amplifying LP4Y’s visibility across the New York metropolitan area. This role is essential to sustaining LP4Y USA’s event momentum, introducing new signature gatherings and ensuring the success of key existing events.Key ResponsibilitiesRevitalize and strategically manage the LP4Y USA annual events calendar to ensure consistent donor engagement and community activation throughout the year.Spearhead new events in the larger New York metropolitan area, including networking breakfasts, cultural gatherings, corporate events, and donor appreciation opportunities.Assist and collaborate with the events team to ensure the continued success of LP4Y USA flagship events: the Gala, White Night, Youth Inclusion Forum, Together We Art, “We Are the Future” YouthVisions film screening.Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, venue selection, programming, budgeting, and on-site execution.Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and promotion plan for all events in partnership with the LP4Y USA Communications Leads and the Global LP4Y Communications team.Ensure all events consistently reflect LP4Y’s mission, brand, and values.Ideal ProfilePassionate individual with global visibility, ideally with experience hosting or sponsoring philanthropic events.Experience with event planning, nonprofits, or public/private partnerships; familiarity with the US donor landscape.Awareness of or affinity with LP4Y’s mission to support excluded youth through entrepreneurship and professional integration.CommitmentMinimum 20 h

Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) is a nonprofit charitable organization operating over 10 different countries. We are dedicated to the professional and social insertion of excluded young adults (17-14) living in extreme poverty.The New York City branch is a Lab that is organized around three missions:talents: recruitment, training and sending volunteers on inclusion missionsstrengthening: training of trainers specializing in the professional inclusion of young adults at riskincubator of innovative entrepreneurial projects with a strong impact on the inclusion of young adults.
