We Speak NYC Conversation Class Facilitator at Lefferts (18+)

SUMMARY:
We Speak New York is an Emmy Award winning English Language Learning program. We Speak NYC provides civic-focused instruction through videos, web and print materials, and live and online classes, which are a service of the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs.
Instructors receive training to use videos and materials that highlight City services, and address such issues as education, health, workforce development, adult education, early childhood education, and worker rights. We Speak NYC classes run once per week for 2 hours, for an 8-week cycle in the summer, fall, winter, and spring.
MINIMUM SKILLS:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a high school diploma
Be a native speaker of English or have native-speaker fluency
Be comfortable using a computer and projector
Have basic internet skills
Be able to access and present a Google Slide presentation
Be available Thursdays from 1:00-3:00pm for 8 weeks
