Horse 201: Learn to Lead-Walk, Sunrise Stables

This is a hands-on workshop, including live demonstrations of the proper technique of lead- walking, taught by GallopNYC staff. Develop your volunteer skills through hands-on experience outside of lessons, with the guided feedback of a professional. GallopNYC puts a great amount of time and energy into the care of our horses and we teach our community to communicate with horses through body language to avoid the common mistakes of pulling on the horse's head, invading their headspace, and misleading communication.

Minimum age: 13.
