No special skills needed - just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend.Here at Miracle City Hospice, one basic value of hospice care that we believe in is that no one should die alone. We also know that not all patients have someone that can be there with them during this time, and at times, some families may want someone from the hospice team to be present. That is why we train a special team of volunteers to help keep vigil and provide a bedside presence for the patient and family in the final moments of life.
