Hospice Volunteers make a difference!Overlook Hospice is looking for kind, compassionate individuals to share their time with hospice patients. The requirements are few but vitally important. An open heart and a bit of time is all that is needed. Sounds simple but it is exactly what is needed for you to make a difference in a patients life.Hospice volunteers provide compaionship and support to our hospice patients and their families. Companionship is provided by sitting with the patient and talking about life reviews, playing music for them, sitting outside with them on nice days, reading to them or just being a presence with them. As simple as that!Currently we are look for volunteers to visit patients in their own homes and long-term care facilities located in Auburn MA and surrounding areas.
