Veteran Visitors Needed for Veterans on Hospice

Veterans are needed to visit fellow veterans on hospice in their homes or in facilities in your local community. Opportunities are available in the Wayne, Wyomissing and Allentown, PA areas. You'll provide much needed support for patients and families through companionship. Veterans provide a unique connection to other veterans at end of life.
You must be over the age of 18. We offer a flexible schedule, FREE hospice training and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

About Holisticare Hospice
When a patient elects to receive services through Holisticare Hospice, they will benefit from:Care supervised by an interdisciplinary team including a physician, registered nurse, clinical social worker, spiritual counselor, home health aide and copmpassionate volunteers.24 hour a day/7 day a week avialability of medical professionals7 day a week availablity of home health aides to assist in personal careExpert pain managementnutritional counselingHolistic alternative therapies which may include Reiki, therapeutic massage, meditation, aromatherapy, pet therapy, and sound therapyFamily bereavement counseling for up to 13 months following passing
