Join Patient Care Hospice and make a positive difference in the lives of patients and families! We utilize volunteers in a variety of ways: emotional support and companionship, reading or sitting with patients and families, practical help for patients, working in the office, or supporting our organization in the community. No experience is necessary, just a desire to help and an interest in hospice care. No hourly commitment is required and we will work with your schedule. About Patient Care Hospice
Hospice is about family and community...and volunteers bring heart to hospice. Our volunteers provide companionship, emotional support and friendship not only to the patient but the friends, caretakers and family of the patient as well. Our volunteers provide the following services:Reading, writing letters, playing gamesStaying with the patient to allow family/caregiver to run errands or have an outingChild care to relieve a caregiverTelephone reassuranceHousehold assistance and errandsCome join our Hospice team and make a difference!
