The town lies on the very edge of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most-visited game reserve in Uganda. Kasese is the chief town in the district of almost 500,000 people, mainly of who work as peasant farmers. This is a good base to visit many of the National Parks and game reserves in the ares; Kibale Forest National Park, the Mweya Safari Lodge, Mount Rwenzori, Kilembe copper mines and the crater lakes of Katwe.We offer programs supporting HIV/Aids prevention and education, and outreach healthcare projects in Kasese. With our volunteer program we allow you to discover the wonders of East Africa, while doing meaningful and rewarding community work.
