Your compassion makes a difference in the lives of our patients and their caregivers! Your engagement is key for the provision of our holistic approach to hospice care.As a Volunteer with us, you may engage in numerous ways:Visit a patient for companionshipProvide respite for a caregiver, allowing them to run errands or go to appointmentsParticipate in our Bereavement Program by assisting with support groups and mailingsLicensed professionals can give time as massage therapists, hair stylists and estheticians etc.Write a patient’s biography as a meaningful keepsake for the familyMusic therapy soothes agitation and anxietyOffice assistance is an ongoing need to support our field team membersMany more opportunities are possibleHospice Volunteer Training is provided. Background check, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and negative TB test are necessary.
