Volunteers often visit people where ever they call home to provide companionship, a quiet presence, pet therapy, small tasks, caregiver support, reiki, cards and games. No experience necessary.
About Pathways Healthcare
Hospice Volunteers are an integral part of the Interdisciplinary team consisting of a medical director, nurses, therapists, social workers, chaplains and home health aides. Volunteer roles consist of direct patient visits at home, reading, music, pet therapy, reiki, veteran recognition, and other administrative duties. Hospice volunteers find their work emotionally meaningful and gratifying. The volunteer opportunity is extremely flexible based on the volunteers' location and schedule; volunteers are valued members of our hospice care team.
