Are you a Military Veteran who would like to compassionately serve as a hospice volunteer, to visit and make a positive difference for hospice patients who are veterans (and/or hospice patients who are civilians), who request friendly companionship visits?During your visits you might: reminisce, look through family photo albums, play a game of cards, go for a walk, or sit in silence and be a comforting presence. Our volunteers visit patients throughout the greater-Boston area.Our next training will start in September.We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support. You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients we serve.
