Music Hospice Volunteer (Guitar Playing and/or Singing)

Well, perhaps you're not filling up clubs and theatres yet, but you're still pretty good... And you just like performing! Then please consider bringing your talents to our patients; that would be a wonderful gift to them... And a chance for you to practice with a very small audience.Some of our patients can only respond to music, and others, like you, just like live music!We are looking to find a few musically gifted people (Singers and/or Guitar Players), who are willing to perform at the bedside of our patients. Song choice would be up to you, though working with the patient, or patient's family, to find out about favorite songs/styles of the patient would be ideal.Visits could be once or twice a month, but more if you have the time... And visits could be at almost any time of day, but definitely on any day of the week/weekend.You would be considered a Hospice Volunteer, and, so, you would need to go through the entire Hospice Volunteer onboarding process. We have 3 offices, servicing our communities: Langhorne, PA covers Bucks & Montgomery Counties in PA, Wall, NJ covers Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in NJ, and Burlington, NJ covers Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer Counties in NJ. As a volunteer you will serve in the area that is comfortable for you to get to. Most volunteers serve the community that they are in, as that is where our patients are; the need to travel to any of the offices is rare.
