At Maryland New Directions, we are always looking for professionals who are willing to give back to their community. By becoming a Mock Interviewer, you'll help job-seeking clients practice essential self-marketing and interview skills boost their confidence and prepare for success in today's workforce.We've all experienced the stress of preparing for an interview. Your time and expertise will help clients turn that anxiety into confidence and accomplishment as they complete their specialized job training.Schedule:Mock Interviews are held on select Thursdays from 8:30am to 12:00pm.What to Expect:Mock Interviewers arrive at 8:30 am for a brief orientation (30 minutes)Conduct 2-5 practice interviews with clientsProvide written feedback using a simple formParticipate in a group panel to share general feedback and answer client questionsWhy Volunteer?Make a direct impact on someone's career journeyShare your professional expertise in a meaningful wayNetwork with other community-minded professionals
