Volunteer tutors needed at Elev8 Baltimore's South Baltimore Adult High School (SBAHS).The adult high school program is for adults who are 21 years old or older to return to school and earn their high school diploma. SBAHS is a self-paced learning program offered to Marylanders in-person and virtually. For our students, we believe that providing strategic tutoring is critical to ensuring the successful completion and mastery of academic content. Students who attend the SBAHS program have a range of academic skills and history, including low literacy skills and a lack of confidence in core subject areas. Tutors work directly with students referred by the SBHS staff to receive additional support. Tutoring sessions are offered online and in-person weekly.
