Break Time Respite Event

Break Time is a respite program for families with children with special needs. We provide a break for parents to go on dates, run errands or just rest. We also accept their typically developing siblings. Volunteers will be paired one on one with a child between the ages of 3 months and 21 years old. It is our honor and privilege to serve nearly 9,000 infants, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors in El Paso, Pueblo, Teller and Park counties. The Resource Exchange (TRE), serves nearly 9,000 infants, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors in El Paso, Pueblo, Teller, and Park counties. Advocating for independence and inclusion, TRE partners with children and adults who have a variety of disabilities, delays, mental health or long-term care needs. We do this using a person-centered approach in coordinating care, promoting choices, and collaborating with community partners.TRE has relationships with over 200 community partners to which we refer our families. Our partners join with TRE to increase opportunities for the people we serve.
