In this role, you will play a critical part in attracting new volunteers by enhancing our outreach efforts through various media platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Advertising and Marketing Volunteer, you will:Update Flyers and Materials: Utilize Brand Central to ensure all our recruitment materials are current, engaging, and aligned with Red Cross branding guidelines.Flyer Distribution: Help distribute flyers in key community areas to promote volunteer opportunities and increase awareness of our mission.Online Postings and Follow-Ups: Manage and update online postings, ensuring timely follow-ups to engage potential volunteers effectively.Collaboration with Local Newspapers: Work closely with local newspapers to publish recruitment articles that highlight the rewarding opportunities available within the Red Cross. E-Newspapers Contributions: Send compelling articles to e-newspapers, broadening our reach to digital audiences.Social Media Group Outreach: Engage with social media groups to promote volunteer opportunities, sharing stories and updates to inspire action and involvement.QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in marketing, advertising, or a related field is beneficialComfortable using social media platforms and digital communication toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCreative, proactive, and enthusiastic about community serviceRequirements:A FLEXIBLE commitment of at least 6 months and 10-12 hours per month.A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (a Red Cross vehicle and gas card will be
