Volunteer guardian

Our volunteers serve as a friend and medical decision maker for persons in nursing homes who are incompetent and unable to make decisions for themselves. The majority of our clients are struggling with dementia or other disability and have no friends or family to assist them. Our volunteers visit at least monthly and meet with staff and providers to develop a plan of care for the client. Our volunteers have the unique opportunity to be able to improve the life of a person in need by offering a caring heart and a small portion of their time.
