Green Guardians School & Library Outreach Volunteers (remote)
♡ SaveAbout this opportunity
Green Guardians pairs middle-grade readers with the native species returning to our watersheds, through an original educational graphic novel created by young artists. Its companion program, Speak for Nature, launches January 1, 2027. Outreach volunteers help schedule and run school and library visits and readings bringing the book, and the species it celebrates, to young readers. The Green Crew is a youth-led science-based environmental leadership and conservation service program, and a proud program of the Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America. Based at the Chapter House, 6601 Auto Club Drive, Bloomington, MN, with some work from home. Contact: Joseph Barisonzi, jbarisonzi@iwlamnvalley.org, 612-518-5536.
